WELCOME 2011-2012

                   This year the counseling program will include:

                                    *Small Groups – study skills, divorce, social skills, coping

                                                                        with ADHD, grief (these groups are        

                                                                        planned as needed.)

                                    *Classroom Counseling – welcome and introduction to the

                                                                        third grade, drug and alcohol refusal

                                                                        skills, other issues as they arise such

                                                                        as respect, bullying, and tolerance, career.

                                    *Individual Counseling – students, teachers, and parents

can refer children who may be experiencing a concern in social, family or

                                                                        academic areas.

                                    *Bibliotherapy – The counseling office has books, DVD’s, and

                                                                        pamphlets to loan to parents, students,

                                                                        and teachers to help with parenting,

                                                                        career information, ADHD, Learning

                                                                        Disabilities, Conflict Resolution,

                                                                        Grief, and Divorce.
