    POLICY

    EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

     

     

     

    The purpose of this policy is to clarify the employment conditions of all personnel of the school district except those covered by specific contracts negotiated with the board of education. It is the intent of the Board to be fair and consistent in its treatment of employees by providing a statement of the conditions of employment to each employee as he or she is hired.

     

    These employment conditions pertain to all present employees designated in the category. Employees hired in the Susquehanna Township School District prior to July 1, 1986 will continue to receive the benefits they have been receiving unless future boards of education limit or expand these benefits. Those employees hired after July 1, 1986 are subject to all conditions as outlined in the attached statements.

     

    If any employee is entitled to equal benefits through another family member, the district wishes the employee to secure them. It is not the intent of the district to provide any financial remuneration in lieu of fringe benefits to employees.
