Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Rebecca Slavinksy
My name is Rebecca Slavinsky and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor’s degree from York College in Behavioral Science and my Masters in Social Work from Temple University. This is my first year as the District Social Worker here at Susquehanna Township School District. I am excited to be a part of this wonderful community and I look forward to this wonderful journey.
What does a School Social Worker do?
School social workers are an essential link between school, home, and community in helping students achieve academic success. As the District Social Worker, I work with families to help them connect to necessary community resources. I also work with students on an individual basis in terms of crisis response and ongoing counseling as well as group counseling. I am also a member of our Student Assistance Team at the Middle School and High School.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you and your child. Together we can help the students at Susquehanna Township School District be World Class. Every Day. In Every Way.
