Mrs. Lindsay Lester
My name is Lindsay Lester. I have enjoyed working in the Susquehanna Township School District for nearly 15 years. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from West Chester University. I attended Kutztown University for post-baccalaureate courses in art education and later earned a K-12 art education certification. I began my career in education as an elementary art teacher in 2000 teaching art to students in grades K-12.
In 2006, I joined the STSD family. I worked for 12 years at Thomas W. Holtzman, Jr. Elementary School as the art teacher. In 2011, I earned a Master’s degree in educational leadership and management from Cabrini University. In the spring of 2016, I accepted my current position as Assistant Principal with the goal of helping our Holtzman Owls soar academically as well socially and emotionally. I am excited to continue cultivating positive relationships with our students, families and staff. I am also very eager to strengthen and expand community partnerships in my work with the Hanna Education Foundation as a board trustee. Ensuring pathways to positive and productive futures for our youth is my passion. Through consistency, compassion, communication and collaboration, I hope to do just that.
