Guidelines for Distribution of Flyers in Schools
All flyers being distributed to Susquehanna Township School District learners require prior approval by the Superintendent’s / Communications Office. Requests for approval should be submitted via Request for Flyer Distribution Form. All flyers must be sent as either a PDF, PNG, or JPEG file. Requests for paper flyer distribution should be submitted at least 4-6 weeks prior to the target distribution date and two to three weeks before the event date. STSD recommends providing an English and Spanish version of flyers.
STSD does not distribute paper flyers to Middle and High School learners. You may provide up to 100 flyers to be made available in the main office of the Middle and High Schools.
How to Request Permission to Distribute Flyers
Complete the “Request for Flyer Distribution Form" online form available on district website.
Flyers need to be approved prior to target distribution date.
- All flyers must include the statement: “Approval for distribution of these materials does not imply endorsement by the Susquehanna Township School District.” An actual sample of any flyer to be distributed must be submitted along with the request form. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the amended statement is as follows: This event, program or group is not sponsored or endorsed by the Susquehanna Township School District. No individual in their capacity as an official or employee of the Susquehanna Township School District Administrators, manages, or supervises the event, program, or group. All CDC, PDE and PA DOH Guidelines and recommendations regarding COVID-19 must be followed while using Susquehanna Township School District buildings, grounds, and facilities.
- No flyers will be distributed during the first two weeks or the last two weeks of school.
- Please use the chart below to determine how many bundles of flyers you will need to provide per building or grade level. To distribute flyers at the Middle and High Schools, please bundle one package of up to 100 flyers.

- Flyers and posters, along with their approval form, must be taken to schools by the organization’s representative. The sponsoring organization is responsible for preparing its own material for distribution.
NOTE: If an event is on district property, a facility use form must be completed and approved by the Business Office.
