Welcome to the Human Resources Department page. The Human Resources department recruits and hires highly qualified staff that are dedicated to educating students by providing a safe and supportive workplace. The HR department is responsible for hiring all full and part-time employees in the district.

In addition, the HR department oversees personnel matters, benefits, and contract negotiations. Team member engagement is at the core of the department and leaders strive to maintain a high level of professionalism and engagement.

Susquehanna Township School District partners with Substitute Teacher Service for day to day substitute teachers. If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher in our school district, please call the Harrisburg office of Substitute Teacher Service at 717-391-7827 for an appointment to get started. Please note that as long as you hold a Bachelor’s degree, regardless of field, that you are able to be emergency permitted to substitute teach.
