Accessing the Microsoft 365 Portal from Home

Students can easily connect to their Microsoft365 account following these steps:

1. Go to http://portal.hannasd.org.
2. Enter your student email email address (studentid@ststudents.org).
3. When prompted, enter the same password you use to log into your district iPad or laptop.

Taking Care of District Issued Equipment 

It is important to take care of your laptop or iPad and keep it in good shape. There are a number of easy things that you can do to keep your equipment in great working order.

Please follow these simple guidelines:

• Keep your laptop in the school-issued laptop carrying case when it is not in use.
• Do not overload the laptop carrying case with other items or items that may damage the laptop.
• Do not sit on your laptop or place any objects on top of it. Doing so may cause damage to the screen and internal components.
• Do not pick up or carry your laptop by the screen.
• Do not touch the screen with pens, pencils, or any sharp instruments.
• Do not leave pens, pencils, or papers on the keyboard when closing the screen.
• Keep liquids, food, pets, and debris away from laptops. Do not keep food, food wrappers, or drink containers in the laptop carrying case.
• When using the laptop, gently place it on a flat, solid surface. This will allow air to circulate properly and keep the laptop from overheating. For example, placing the laptop on a pillow or blanket can block airflow.
• Do not expose your laptop to extreme temperatures (below 35 degrees or above 90 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Do not leave your laptop unattended, such as in a car or area where it may be damaged or stolen.
• Cords, cables, and removable storage devices must be inserted carefully into the laptop.
• Never attempt to repair or reconfigure the laptop. Under no circumstances are you to tamper with the internal components or remove any screws.

Add STSD to your safe senders list

Adding emails to your Safe Senders list specifically allows emails from a certain source, such as Susquehanna Township School District, to be allowed into your email inbox.

Below is a list of commonly used email providers.  If your provider is not on this list, please consult your provider's tech support for assistance.  If your email is through your employer, please contact your employer's tech support for assistance.

To ensure you will receive emails from STSD, make sure to add do-not-reply@hannasd.org.
