    What Is Key Club?

Key Club International is a self-governing, student-led organization. Each year, Key Club members elect their student officers at club, district and international levels during club meetings and district and international conventions. Key club is run by the support from Kiwanis advisors, faculty advisors and district administrators.

    How Key Club Works

Key Club International is the high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children ofthe world. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing andorganizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

    When to Attend the Meetings

Susquehanna Township Key Club meetings occur every first and third Thursday of the month. They start at 7:16 a.m. in the auditorium and last for about fifteen to twenty minutes.

What to Expect at the Meetings

Before every meeting begins, the president of Key Club will first ring the bell to alert everyone to rise and say the Key Club pledge. After the pledge, the president will explain what projects are available and what to expect at the projects. Once the meeting is over, you will be able to sign in and sign up for any projects you are interested in doing. REMEMBER: You MUST have at least 8 hours of projects completed at the end of each marking period.

    Kiwanis Luncheon

The Kiwanis luncheon is a weekly event that three volunteered students participate in. They get to meet Kiwanis members, listen to a guest speaker, and have a delicious lunch. The students leave school for about 2 hours and will hear a guest speaker talk about different ways that will benefit our community. It’s a great way to get more involved and meet lots of great Kiwanis members!

We are caring and competent servant leaders transforming communities worldwide.
