I graduated from Shippensburg University in the Spring of 2013. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. I obtained my teaching certificate a month after graduation and a month after that I added middle school math certification. I recieved certification to teach math at the high school level in September, 2014.
I was a student teacher at Waynesboro Area Senior High School in the spring of 2013. I taught two classes of Sports & Entertainment Marketing and one class of Entrepreneurship. After that, I was a substitute teacher at Gettysburg Area High School during the 2013-2014 school year where I got to teach a wide variety of subjects.
During the summer I work with a program called Meals & More. Meals & More works with at-risk children between the ages of 5-10. We make sure the kids receive a healthy lunch and breakfast while also providing fun, educational activities. I have worked there the past eight summers. The past two summers, 2014 & 2015, I was Director of the program. I was responsible for planning and coordinating activities with six other employees.
I was born and raised in Gettysburg, PA. I am one of four boys of which I am the second oldest. My hobbies are reading, writing, and spending time with my friends. I have two dogs, a beagle and a basset hound, and one cat. My favorite food is lasagna but pretty much anything with meat and cheese is fine by me. I recently got married (Summer 2015). I am looking forward to a great school year!
I am very easy to get along with if you follow the class rules.
