    About Me
Hello! My name is Mrs. Ungerer. I started at Hanna in the fall of 2013. This year I am super excited to be teaching 10th grade English and to continue to grow with the School of the Arts Theater students. I will also continue to further advance our fantastic drama club program. I received a BFA in Acting from New York University. I spent time in New York City after graduation, auditioning, working as a casting assistant where I would scout talent for an LA affiliate, and of course, waitressing! I then moved back to Bucks County, and after performing in some community theater, I decided to go for my teaching degree in secondary English from Beaver College (now Arcadia University). I then worked seven years at Neshaminy High School back in Bucks County where I was also a drama director. I moved to Berks County in 2002, and was hired as a teacher and drama director at Governor Mifflin Middle School. I resigned when my second child was born. After a few years at home, I worked in the Conrad Weiser School District, where I live, as a remedial reading aid. I live in Robesonia, Berks County, with my husband, my son who is attending his first year at The University of Pittsburg at Johnstown for Computer Science, my daughter who is in 10th grade, and our two dogs. I am excited to explore language arts and theater with the kids at Hanna High!
