We will be utilizing Teams and the Class Notebooks in Teams to continue our learning sequence. Assignments will be pushed out through the assignments tab in Teams and will need to be uploaded there for grading. In the Class Notebook you should go to the Lessons section after 3 pm on Fridays for an updated list of requirements and a projection of the next week’s learning objectives. If you have technical problems, please see the section on videos in the Class Notebook for help tips created by high school teachers on how to fix any technically issues you may have with Teams or Class Notebooks. You can also go to this Microsoft Stream channel for more information on using Teams and OneNote.
Additionally, I will use Teams to conduct live class sessions on select days based on the period schedule above. Please check your Teams/emails for link to join those classes. Students may choose to attend the live sessions or simply work asynchronously following the date dates posted in their weekly agenda. Weekly agendas will be posted in both Teams and OneNote and sent via e-mail. Please read the directions for each individual assignment to see how to submit it.

Academic / Honors Civics & Government
Greetings! This is my second year teaching at Susquehanna Township in the Social Studies Department. I will be teaching Civics, Psychology, and Sociology classes for the 2019-2020 school year. My experience growing up in a military family allowed me to see many places and helped generate my passion for the Social Studies. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in History from Lycoming College and a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Misericordia University. Outside of the classroom I am an Assistant Swim Coach at Dickinson College and still compete in masters swimming competitions. I really enjoy to travel and visit historical places across the country. I am a BIG Penn State fan!! I look forward to working with you to become an informed and educated citizen that is ready to make a positive difference in our community and country.
