Dear STSD Families,

 

The current pandemic-driven bus driver shortage continues to cripple school district transportation services across our nation. 

STSD’s Transportation Team continues to work tirelessly to respond to this crisis and meet district transportation needs.

As an informed STSD parent/caregiver, you are aware that at the start of the current school year, STSD deployed a new student transportation services application (App) referred to as Ride 360. Ride 360 is intended to provide parents registered with real-time information on the geographic location of their student’s bus while in transit. 

After addressing initial start-of-year issues with Ride 360, the district recently learned that the App technology is again not performing as designed and intended. This deficiency has resulted in parents not being able to view bus locations.

STSD is in the process of meeting with the relevant parties to resolve this matter ASAP. Thank you for your understanding as we work through this challenging time together.
