A group of people, some wearing colorful clothing, are gathered in what appears to be a crowded outdoor market or festival setting, with various stalls and structures visible in the background.

It is my honor to serve the learners and families of the Susquehanna Township School District, where our mission is The Success of Every Learner.

Our core values embody who we are as a district and who we strive to become as a community of learners:

  • Every learner has the right to a world-class education.
  • We are a leader in innovation and technology.
  • The learning environment must be safe and supportive.
  • Our diversity is our strength.
  • Community partnerships are vital to our success.
  • We will act ethically at all levels of the organization.

To this end, we are committed to providing state-of-the-art technology to enhance classroom instruction and to provide authentic, real-world experiences with technology as a learning tool. We are fully committed to engaging our families and community partners in those critical conversations about the safety of the learning environment for all learners and staff, and to continuing to seek innovative methods to support learners at all academic levels. For example, dual enrollment, AP courses, internships, job shadowing, and our First-Choice graduation initiatives are just a few ways in which we will continue to support learners across the learning continuum.

Moreover, we believe that the diversity within the Susquehanna Township School District is one of our greatest strengths and a source of pride. Our business, teacher and family advisories, as well as our partnerships with local colleges and universities, ensure that we are meeting the rapidly evolving needs of our learners and the demands of a global workplace.

We are also committed to demonstrating the integrity and ethical behavior that we hope to instill within our learners. To that end, we strive to maintain a culture of transparency and open communication for the benefit of our community, our district, and our learners.
