Learning Engagement Opportunities
Please use the links below to access learning engagement opportunities for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. Packets were assembled by district administration and staff to help keep children engaged during the extended school closure. While the learning materials are not mandatory, by completing this work and reading daily, we hope to maintain skills in reading and math until our schools re-open.
High school teachers will be sharing course specific ideas for student engagement. Please check the district website and student email frequently for the most up to date information.
In addition to the packets, we encourage use of the resources listed below to reteach, maintain, and build on learning from the packets. These resources are completely free and provide practice for children at most grade levels.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us to manage this very challenging situation.

STSD Students have an All Ready Access account, which uses students’ school identifications number instead of a separate library card to allow them to borrow eResources and access The Library’s databases. With this virtual library card, students have access to all of The Library’s online resources such as Learning Express Library, Science Reference Center, Gale Academic OneFile, a peer-reviewed, full text set of articles from STEAM resources, NewsBank, Hoopla and OverDrive.
